
The Objects of the National Trust as exemplified in its publication Hunter 2000 are:
- To make conservation an integral part of planning in the Hunter Region.
- To Secure the dedication of adequate natural areas as Nature Reserves, National Parks and State Recreation Areas.
- To protect distinctive landscapes.
- To ensure the provision of adequate open space in urban areas.
This supplement is the first of a series planned by the Trust to elaborate on its publication Hunter 2000 [1972].
Supplement No 1. deals with the conservation requirements of the Hunter Valley Estuary.
