These Photographs were scanned from glass lantern slides from the Wilson Harold Maze Collection. Wilson Harold Maze, (1911-1985) was a lecturer in Geography and Administrator at the University of Sydney. He donated this collection, depicting images of the Lower Hunter in the early 1930’s, to Professor Cyril Renwick at the Hunter Valley Research Foundation in 1980. This collection is now held in Cultural Collections at the University of Newcastle.
