The National Trust has 4 properties located in the Hunter region; Grossman & Brough House in Maitland, Tomago House in Tomago and Miss Porters House at Newcastle.
All the properties are currently run by volunteer management committees with varying degrees of success.
While these wonderful people do a great job, The National Trust of Australia (NSW) would like to provide some assistance to them in the form of a regular part-time museum officer, who will work with and provide support for these committees to make the operation, maintenance, programming and collection management of these properties more engaging and successful.
