“This exhibition is a view of a city, not a complete picture but a detailed and at the same time a distant image. The photographs look at the place I know well and for me this is a re-seeing of the familiar. The relationships of the photographs are as significant as their content. There are hopes and dreams in the images but there is also the daylight revelation of what is there. The phographs reflect the evident but I hope to make manifest the unseen” – Allan Chawner
